The Corporation was informally started in 2009 when Mr. Henry Gruta and his wife Mrs. Jane Gruta was thinking of a business by that time. They observed the huge market of the SIOMAI industry and sold it for P25/4pcs. It’s quite expensive for class C and D who wanted also to eat dim sum or siomai particularly. They came up with a big question…. BAKITKAILANGAN MAHAL ANG SIOMAI?

  We came up to build their very own concept for siomai that serves for market Class C and D. Why??? Because 60% of the market is Masa.

  The first store of SIO REPUBLIC was born in Polo, Valenzuela City, (in front of National HighSchool). Our goal by then of putting business is just to earn extra income that will cover our daily expenses. The feedback of the market for its first year is great. Until we decided to share this business opportunity for those who wanted to earn also.

  Our SIOMAI is “homemade”; crafted by hand, starting from scratch. And what makes us different from the other siomai stall is our sauces, ( secret recipe) and the preparation. The Unique way of preparing siomai is to drizzle it with soy sauce, toppings of roasted garlic, and chili sauce ( “the bomb”).

  We maintain the business concept as HAND MADE SIOMAI, which in the past seven years are still existed and continues growing to the market.
