VACUUMED GRIT BLASTING

Subic Pnoy embarks on an equipment upgrading program to automate its cargo hold surface preparation units to achieve international norms in terms of quality and speed in cargo hold surface preparation and coating application.

INTERNATIONAL STANDARD INTERNAL TANK COATING WITH DEHUMIDIFICATION


Subic Pnoy addresses the requirement set by the International Maritime Organization to upgrade the ballast and other internal tanks of ocean going vessels by embarking on an equipment upgrading program including the provision of dehumidifier and vacuum ejector units, simultaneous with a supervisory training program to upgrade company level to be able to carry out internal tank coating projects at international standards.

WATER JETTING​


This capability empowers Subic Pnoy with a very friendly alternative to traditional methods of surface preparation such as grit and steel shot surface blasting. This method of surface preparation is expected to be one of the preferred methods in the future.
